Vote for our Burghwood House project in your local Tesco supermarket

Residents of Burghwood House, a rural Sheltered Scheme in Sussex, have been shortlisted by Tesco for a Bags of help grant. The project to remove very steep garden steps and replace them with a winding path would allow access for all residents, whatever their mobility.

Bags of Help is an exciting local community grant scheme where the money raised from the 5p bag charge is put towards the funding of thousands of local projects in communities right across the UK.

The project is one of three to be selected which you will be able to vote for in your local Tesco’s supermarket by using the blue token given at the end of each shop. The project with the most votes is awarded up to £5,000 which would go a long way towards helping them complete their project.
